DESCRIPTION:Join NYSA for the Too Hot To Touch Summer Doubles Tournament\, an Open NYSA State Tournament featuring two exciting competitive firsts: the debut of the ISA No-Touch Zone Rule\, recently adopted by the International Shuffleboard Association (ISA)\, and NYSA’s first-ever Double Elimination bracket. Whether you’re competing for cash prizes\, NYSA State Points\, or bragging rights\, this tournament offers a fresh twist on competitive shuffleboard. \nEvent Highlights \n\nOpen Tournament – Everyone is welcome! NYSA membership and Royal Palms league participation are not required.\nISA No-Touch Zone Rule – The first disc of each frame is protected if it comes to rest in the designated No-Touch Zone\, creating a new strategic challenge from the opening shot.\nDouble Elimination – Unlike NYSA’s traditional championship/consolation format\, teams remain eligible to win the tournament until they’ve lost twice.\nRegistration – $40 per doubles team or $20 to register as a Free Agent.\nTournament Capacity – Limited to 32 teams.\nWhat’s at Stake – Cash prizes\, NYSA State Points (members only)\, and bragging rights.\n\nSign up now!
