Join NYSA for the Too Hot To Touch Summer Doubles Tournament, an Open NYSA State Tournament featuring two exciting competitive firsts: the debut of the ISA No-Touch Zone Rule, recently adopted by the International Shuffleboard Association (ISA), and NYSA’s first-ever Double Elimination bracket. Whether you’re competing for cash prizes, NYSA State Points, or bragging rights, this tournament offers a fresh twist on competitive shuffleboard.
Event Highlights
- Open Tournament – Everyone is welcome! NYSA membership and Royal Palms league participation are not required.
- ISA No-Touch Zone Rule – The first disc of each frame is protected if it comes to rest in the designated No-Touch Zone, creating a new strategic challenge from the opening shot.
- Double Elimination – Unlike NYSA’s traditional championship/consolation format, teams remain eligible to win the tournament until they’ve lost twice.
- Registration – $40 per doubles team or $20 to register as a Free Agent.
- Tournament Capacity – Limited to 32 teams.
- What’s at Stake – Cash prizes, NYSA State Points (members only), and bragging rights.
