NYSA is excited to once again be hosting our annual Any Doubles national shuffleboard tournament on June 13-14, 2026 at Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

Due to high demand pre-registration is required and entry will be granted based on lottery. The lottery period is now closed.  Contact us for more information on joining the waitlist.

10 indoor waxed concrete courts, not beaded.

Tournament Format

Any Doubles, one 16-frame game with color change after eighth frame. First round determines whether teams advance into main or consolation bracket, single elimination thereafter. Tournament will start Saturday morning and finish Sunday late afternoon or evening.


Friday, June 12

  • 1:00-6:00 PM:
    • Player Check-In
    • Tournament Draw
    • Practice with Tournament Discs


Saturday, June 13

  • 8:00 AM: Check-in for all teams
  • 8:40 AM – 3:30 PM: Round of 64 and Round of 32 Matches
  • 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Official After Party at Halyard’s Bar


Sunday, June 14

  • 8:00 AM: Check-in for teams still in play
  • 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Round of 16 and Quarterfinals Matches
  • 12:00 PM: Speed Shuffle Tournament sponsored by Allen Shuffleboard
  • 1:30 PM: Semi-finals Matches (Main and Consolation Brackets)
  • 2:45 PM: Consolation Finals and 3rd Place Matches (Main and Consolation)
  • 4:00 PM: Main Finals Match
  • 5:00 PM: Awards

Transportation to/from airports is available by various public transportation and taxi/rideshare options.

The Royal Palms is easily accessible via the subway. We are within a short walking distance from the R station at Union St and the F/G stations at Carroll St. Public transit in New York is safe and reliable.

NYSA does not recommend renting a car as parking near the club is very limited and/or expensive.
